Today I’ve teamed up with one of my favourite yogis Kate Kendall from Flow Athletic to produce a very simple and effective core control workout that will teach you to move with grace while under pressure.

This workout is all about core control. Having a strong core in yoga (related: Kate Kendall’s Guide To Ashtanga Yoga!usually means that you’ll be able to do any pose and its one of the most admired physical assets in yoga. With a strong core you’ll be able to do inversions, arm and leg balances etc (related: Learn This Amazing Scorpion Yoga Move) with so much ease. But first of all, you need to learn how to access this area. So with the below workout, these 10 asanas will teach you basic strength in your core.

So, are you ready? Your 10 asanas are as follows:

  1. Down Dog
  2. Right leg Three-Legged Dog
  3. Right knee to right tricep
  4. Right leg Three-Legged Dog
  5. Right leg Fallen Triangle
  6. Right side plank
  7. Wild Thing
  8. Low Plank
  9. Upward Dog
  10. Downward Dog
  11. Repeat on the left side, your opposite side to the above sequence
