It’s not often I get to trial a pair of earphones, let alone wireless. But when the all-new super chic B&O PLAY H5 arrived on my desk a week ago, well they couldn’t have arrived at a better time for my trip to LA. Alas, It was time to wave goodbye to my old out of shape trusty headphones and replace with a younger, slimmer and prettier model.
My latest trip from SYD to LA was a long 14-hour flight and if I couldn’t get to sleep (numb legs) then I was either sitting in on my own 6 movie marathon or on my lappy writing blog copy with earphones in listening to music. As much as I hate flying, It gives me the time to switch off from social and emails whilst finding some space for being mindful. That’s when my new pink earphones decided to take center stage and wow did they shine bright like a diamond. To be honest, I actually doubted its ability to perform. (tip: never judge a book by its cover). Probably too mesmerized by their external beauty. But when I swiveled those little earbuds firmly in my ear canal and hit play on Spotify, I was in my own little world of Rhianna. The sound quality… impeccable, the wireless technology so user-friendly and the experience, just seamless. It’s clear B&O PLAY have not only thought about the shape and beauty they wrap their technology in but have clearly cemented the product development and engineering to deliver the best sound and acoustic performance that I’ve ever experienced.
Their just brilliant and surely enough are in a league of their own. Hats off to my new lady, the Beoplay H5.
